Who We Are
Hello from Diana and Jonathan, the founders of Merch and Mission. We are a couple who met on a Christian dating app and got married in April 2021. After serving in the United States Navy for 8 years I (Jonathan) moved to Nicaragua where my wife (Diana) is from and began studying Christian Ministry online. My Wife and I both wanted to serve God full-time however we quickly found out that we didn’t have the resources we needed, so after a year we moved back to Tampa, Florida in 2022. Shortly after moving back to the States, my wife and I began attending and serving in a church we found online while living in Nicaragua. After a missions conference in September 2023, I received confirmation from the Lord, that He was calling me to go and serve full-time, not as a pastor but in a service role as a missionary pilot. Mission Aviation was something that God had placed on my heart for years and I had even begun taking flight lessons years earlier, but flight training is very expensive, so I ended up putting it aside. While in Tampa, the desire to serve God with Aviation grew stronger so in June 2024 my wife and I moved to Knoxville, Tennessee to be closer to family and started raising money to pay for my missionary pilot training. In August 2024 my wife and I started Merch and Mission. At Merch and Mission, you will find a variety of products, but you may have heard of us because of our Merch and Mission food beeswax wraps. When purchasing from Merch and Mission you can anticipate quality standards and dedication to delivering excellent customer service. We were led to start this business not just to pay for my flight training, but also to financially support mission aviation organizations that support missionaries on the field, helping to make disciples in isolated villages, assisting in Bible translation, while also providing access to education, food, clean water, and access to medical care. Our Vision
